Can I lie down to meditate ?

Rating: +0

Positive Negative

Whenever possible, it is always best to meditate sitting up. Sit comfortable, with your spine somewhat erect. When we lie down, the body associates lying down with falling asleep. Even though we might fall asleep sitting up to meditate, we do not want to create a situation where the body will easily fall asleep.

However, if some reason you are not able to sit up (you are sick or you have an injury of some sort), then meditate in whatever position is most comfortable for you.
