If you eat a healthy, balanced diet, then this should not affect your meditation in any way. However, if you eat foods or drinks that cause you to feel heavy and dull during activity, then this dullness and heaviness could last through and affect your experiences during meditation.

Of course, we always recommend that you meditate before you eat or allow plenty of time for digestion before you practice your meditation.
