Sometimes during meditation, I feel so restless and frustrated that I want to stop meditation and get up and do something else.

Positive Negative

This is just the time when it is best not to get up. The restlessness and frustration are indications that a lot of stress is being released. This is why we are practicing the meditation. So, when you have this experience, be easy with it. Come back to the mantra, and, if it is really difficult to think the mantra, sit easily with your eyes closed.

Let that stress, let that emotion, frustration and restlessness surge through and leave your body. And then, when it is a little more comfortable, go back to the mantra. Again, this is time not to quit; this is the time to continue with the meditation and get rid of those stresses.
